Will the Obama administration feed CIT to Goldman Sachs?

The big fish will eat the little fish. We have a government in which all major financial decisions are made by Goldman Sachs previous employees who have been placed in the Obama administration. Our not so federal Federal Reserve and Goldman Sachs appear to have merged into one. We are in a recession or perhaps a depression but after receiving bailouts from the government Goldman Sachs just reported quarterly profits of $3.44 billion and JP Morgan reported $2.7 billion. As businesses succumb to hard economic times these two enterprises are feeding on the misery of others with the blessing of our ruling Party.
Follow up:
Does Goldman Sachs have so much influence in the current administration because they invested heavily in their political campaign? Most Democrats in office including Barney Frank, Chris Dodd and Barack Obama benefited from large contributions made by Goldman Sachs as you can see on this chart. We can wonder if those who supported this administration at the polls during the last two major elections are getting what they voted for.
There appears to be an agenda by the current administration to destroy those who do not or have not supported them during elections. If you visit this link perhaps you can better understand the dictatorial path of the current administration. This chart has a list of organization that have donated for political campaigns, it only has three groups that supported the Republicans and all three of them have been targeted for destruction.
The American Medical Association will be the biggest loser if the proposed Health care system is approved. Insurance companies that offer medical cover will be put out of business. Doctors and nurses if not directly at least indirectly thru regulations will be working for the Federal Government and it will regulate salaries. The freedom of choice to health care in our nation will come to an end if their intended Health care is approved. If an authoritarian government is given this power, they will have the ability to decide who will live and who will die. Are we going to be foolish enough to give them the authority to be our savior or executioner?
The Altria Group or the tobacco industry is also targeted for destruction. The currently imposed tax hike on tobacco products and the harsh economic environment will make the use of tobacco unaffordable for many. The use of tobacco products is harmful to the health, but so are alcohol and other products that they are not targeting. Who would not rather come head to head on the road with a smoker than a drunk? Ironically these tobacco industry bashers support legalizing marijuana. They are even taking the assault on tobacco to our armed forces by wanting to impose smoking restrictions on our fighting forces. It is very thoughtful or them to be concerned about the soldiers health while sending them to die and get maimed.
The National Auto Dealers Association was already the victim of retaliatory agenda of the Obama administration. The closing of what appears to be unnecessary and targeted closing of thousand of auto dealerships shows how far this administration will go to suppress dissent. The auto workers that were fortunate enough not to lose their jobs are now Federal employees. The remaining dealerships that were not closed will be jerked around by the new bureaucracy.
CIT Group Inc. is a financial institution that provides credit to major corporations and small business, roughly one million of them. Do not be surprised to see Goldman Sachs step in to buy for pennies on the dollar the assets of CIT. Where most of our citizens would not approve their bailout, we can’t help but to see the implications if they fail. The Obama administration and his Goldman Sachs advisors have decided not to help CIT avoid bankruptcy. If our government gains control directly or indirectly of a company like CIT, it can control who gets loans and who doesn’t. They can decide who will fail and who will not, perhaps even based on political bias. The Obama administration would be delighted to see political rival business close and let them be taken over with new loans issued to their cronies. There are those who say that the ruling party wants to impoverish America but it is more like destroying the wealth of the opposition while filling their own coffers.
We are yet to see how all of this is going to carry through for the current administration. We are facing difficult economic times and it will get much worse in months to come. We will see the strength and resilience of our people dealing with hardship. How they will deal with the loss of freedom will be an entirely different game, this is a game in which I am willing to bet they will not lose.
Is that a President in your pocket?
