Where is the truth Mr. President?

Given the immensity of the cover up and the lies, it comes as no surprise that few American tuned in to listen what the President had to say on Tuesday night about the Gulf disaster. Surely many of those who tuned in verified with disappointment that he had no clue on how this situation would be resolved and those who didn’t watched as myself who already knew it as I expressed it in my previous article.
The President has guaranteed those affected cleaner beaches than before and $20 billion from BP to compensate an industry of $2.2 trillion that it’s been decimated. Thank you Mister President. You could have been honest and said, “This situation is totally out of our control, we have no clue on what to do, run for the exits, and each man for himself” we would have not liked it, but at least you would have showed us some courage.
Obama painted an unreal best case scenario. There are some people now predicting that the entire Gulf region could become unlivable not only from the oil leaking but from benzene or a cataclysmic tidal wave. These are only a drop in the bucket of the problems that exist and the immense cover up from the White House. In private BP executives are probably saying, “What have we done?”
For starter we find out every day that the leak is larger than the day before. So which one is it, are they lying, they have no clue or it is actually growing in size? Latest estimates have it as 60,000 barrels per day or at 42 gallons per barrel 2,250,000 gallons each day. The Exxon Valdez leaked 11,000,000 gallons, so every four days the Gulf leak equals to one Exxon Valdez. This been the case, we now have a leak equivalent to about 15 Exxon Valdez and a new one every four days for as far as the eye can see, unless of course the leak becomes as predicted even larger. There is no recollection on where the President mentioned this during his 20 minute speech. We also recollect him saying to support tourism on the Gulf that the beaches were clean. Well if you believed him, you were disappointed this morning if you were vacationing in what used to be pristine Fort Walton beach in Florida.
Apparently, there is in effect a news blackout with no fly zones or boats allowed to venture into the Gulf. There are reports of private security guards or mercenaries policing the beaches and picking up carcasses of dead animals that wash up thus preventing knowledge the immensity of the destruction to marine life. There is private security personal in charge? Shouldn’t it be the local law enforcement and the National Guard doing this?
There are other scenarios and events taking place but one that is most striking is reports of people getting sick. Since there is a news blackout and reporters are not allowed to roam freely with cameras, little of what is taking place will be seen by the public. Visit this link and see a report on people getting sick just by breathing the air. It is believed that there is much higher than safe concentrations of Benzene in the air. Benzene is a carcinogenic, dangerous in amounts exceeding 1 to 4 parts per million. Here is a video with concerns from toxicologist Riky Ott who is following illnesses related to current oil leak. Here is another link with a report from Riky Ott.
Taking in consideration that at the present Benzene and other toxics exposure could be the greatest threat to those who live near the Gold Coast I will conclude this article with information on Benzene.
We must demand answers and the truth so that the people can make decisions before there is a human catastrophe in addition to the ecological that has already taken place.
Benzene is a carcinogen. While many chemicals are suspected to be cancer-causing, benzene is one of the few substances that have been identified by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (exit VDH) as a “known human carcinogen.” The International Agency for Cancer Research has also determined that benzene is carcinogenic to humans.
Occupational studies of workers exposed to benzene have shown that long-term exposure to high levels has caused acute myeloid leukemia. In laboratory studies with rats and mice, benzene has been shown to cause leukemia and other types of cancer.
Benzene can cause neurological damage and can harm the immune system. Long-term exposure to benzene fumes can cause nerve damage. Short-term exposure to high levels of benzene, and to other related aromatic hydrocarbons such as toluene and xylene, can cause dizziness, nausea, headaches and unconsciousness. Excessive exposure to benzene can harm the immune system.
Sensitive Populations—As with most chemicals, benzene poses a potentially greater hazard to young children and pregnant women. Studies indicate that alcohol consumption increases the toxicity of benzene.
Lindsey Williams has appeared in many radio talk shows and produced documentaries. He also predicted the oil spike to near $150 and then the drop to under $50. He claims to have connection to elitists in the oil industry that provide him with inside information. These are his recent comments of great importance on the Gulf oil incident.
