What has become of a government of the people, by the people, for the people?

A magician executes his trick by having you looking at one hand while pulling his trick with the other. While the Obama team throws this massive health care system propaganda at us, there are much bigger things happening that they wish we could not see.
Follow up:
A good place to start is the 1.3 trillion losses in people’s wealth during the last quarter alone. Would it sound more dramatic if we call it One million three hundred thousand millions or write it as $1,300,000,000,000? This is not the Feds money it is yours and mine. This is the result of losses incurred to previously accumulated assets of home equities, 401ks and pensions. As staggering as this figure may be is nothing compared to the $11.2 trillion that was lost in 2008. This combined loss of$12.5 trillions in addition to the debt is the main reason why there will not be an economic recovery in the foreseeable future. This is buying power that has vanished from the American public. This figure although impressive is nothing compared to the $50 trillion global wealth loss during the last 12 months. Aren’t things great? Who cannot see this? Amazingly, the vast majority of Americans are too busy watching American Idol, playing video games or visiting Disney to notice what goes on until they find themselves jobless and in the street applying for food stamps.
As the number of foreclosures and homeless increase anger is also on the rise. This is a good article on the psychology and politics of foreclosures. In general, there is a tendency to blame those who default on mortgages and point out that they should have known better. In today’s economy, it would have been almost impossible for the average citizen to foresee the current price drop in Real Estate and the rising unemployment, especially when our leaders in Washington were and still are telling us otherwise. There is plenty of resentment and anger from those who are losing their homes and many are trashing the homes on the way out. Others are selling or taking everything they can with them. This situation has become a nightmare for banks and realtors as it is happening nationwide.
For decades, politicians were selling the wish to fulfill the American dream by owning a home. The same politicians that offered this dream and made it possible to many have snatch that dream right from under their feet and we can put Barney Frank and Chris Dodd right on top of the list. These same politicians along with others have condoned of the Federal Reserve to dump by some estimates at least 12 trillion dollars to save banks and financial institutions. Much of which cannot even be accounted for as you can see by visiting this link. Their previous generosity vanished as they would not spare one or two trillions to have reduced substantially home owners mortgage principles and bring them down to reflect real market value. Such denial has caused to millions the loss of homes and created massive unemployment that have driven them back into poverty.
As these politicians allowed a few bankers to be bailed out with trillions, they put aside a few billions in crumbs for food stamps and unemployment benefits for the peasants. In March when the unemployment was at 8.5% there were 33.157 million Americans receiving food stamps. There is no telling how many there were on May 31st when unemployment reached 9.4% or where it will be by year’s end when it may be well over 10%. The Obama administration appears to be eager to spend over a trillion to offer these people medical care. We can wonder if they have figure out yet how they are going to feed these people if the current economic crises worsens and lasts a few years. We could rest assure that these people would have preferred to stay in their homes and keep their jobs than to be offered a delusional health care. Can you see the lies and deception?
Minorities have been amongst the biggest losers of homes and as always, minorities are the first one to become unemployed during times of high unemployment. Those with more education and working experience are replacing them in the jobs market. Where is the media outrage and coverage? We can’t help but wonder how long is it going to take for our black citizens to realize that they were conned with a false Prophet. More interesting yet, where are Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton? Are they MIA or on house arrest? If this would have happen at any other time, they would be rallying the people with massive protests. There is something definitely wrong here. Those that speak of redistributing the wealth can’t see past their breath. At the rate that wealth is being lost, give them six more months and there will be nothing left to redistribute.
The lawmakers are breaking the law, and trampling over our citizens. When this takes place in a Democracy it is called a coup d’état and it turns into a Dictatorship. The complaints of secure bond holders of GM and Chrysler many of which are just ordinary people have fallen on deaf ears. The current administrations is trampling business laws by denying them first place in line for control of the bankrupt auto makers and giving them to the Treasury and the Unions. We already know from the experience of Amtrak and the U.S. Postal Service that the Federal Government does not know how to run a business successfully. Is the UAW going to look out for the best interest of these companies or are they just going to ransack what is left, shut them down, and eventually send their members to the unemployment line. When did the unions look out for the best interest of any company?
Auto dealership owners that have been left out in the cold during the bankruptcies of GM and Chrysler are seeking legal action. Many are complaining that they were good profitable operations that did not cost the automakers a single penny to maintain them open. In a Dictatorship, the ruling elite exercise powers of favoritism for their benefit and that of their friends. We have this instance involving Barney Frank in which he personally saw to have three dealerships in Massachusetts removed from the closing list.
It is obvious that not many in Washington are looking out for the people, so the people will do it themselves. The second amendment has become a thorn on the side of Progressives who want to force their ideas on a society that rejects them. Since Obama got elected, there has been a rush by the people to stock pile guns and ammunition. Many would say that it is because such people are afraid that guns will be outlawed by the current administration, only those that do not own guns may see it that way. The truth is that only fools would spend that much money to moth ball something that has been deemed illegal and cannot be used. The people have stockpiled on guns and ammo to protect themselves during hard economic times and to signal our politicians not to touch the second amendment. The most heavily armed society in the world will not lose its freedom. The American people are peace and freedom loving people and no one will fight harder for their liberty than such people.
As we continue to see the rapid changes that are taking in our society, we can’t help but notice the increasing suffering, poverty, despair and anger. As we saw, we have corrupt politicians favoring themselves and their friends. Government is amassing power and breaking laws, bailing out bankers and putting them above its 330 million citizens, 11% of which are no longer able to feed themselves. The only thing that the current administrations has to offer is the wrecking of our private healthcare system and more taxes. We just saw Californians choose possible State bankruptcy over more taxes. What does that tell you?
There was once a leader that came to power during hard economic times. He favored the ruling elite and their friends above the people. He ignored the pleas of the people, raised their taxes and magnified the suffering. History teaches us a lot, unfortunately, many choose to ignore history, this leader was Louis XVI.
While entertaining you with health care they are vanishing you wealth.
