CNN and Zakaria Lopsided Reporting.

More bias media reporting as comments made by Farred Zakaria on CNN take a shot at blaming the US for the lack of popularity in the Middle East. Zakaria being knowledgeable but also biased gets involved in small talk issues and losses sight of the real problems that surround the Israeli and Palestinian conflict. Most of our media organizations suffer from a deficiency of fair reporting. They have turned their organizations into campaigning institutions for Liberal Idealism and constant attacks on Conservatives and our current administration.
Zakaria goes on to claim that our lack of support for Hamas is hypocritical. The news media itself is an authority in hypocrisy. There are two things that Hamas must do to gain our support, but it refuses to:
Follow up:
Accept Israel’s right to exist and stop and denounce terrorism. It would be very difficult for us not to support Hamas if it would conduct itself as an elected civilized government. If Hamas wants recognition it needs to stop acting as a war puppet of Iran.
It is interesting how the Liberal media and our Liberal Democrats give Iran a free ride. The Iranians are the ones responsible for bringing instability to the Middle East by being the puppeteers of Hamas and Hezbollah. Iran by all means should be the one to lose the popularity contest within the Arab world. They do not consider themselves Arabs, for they claim to be Persians. They have a strong presence in the Middle East to deliberately create instability and a negative view of Israel and the US. Iran’s real objective is to deliberately cause division in the Arab world for their own security and undermine positive sentiment of the US.
In addition, debating that the US among other things is unpopular in the Middle East, because Israel is blocking a few students from crossing the Gaza border is absurd and far from reality. Such small talk is equivalent as being concerned that your hair is a mess while your insides are lying on the ground and you are bleeding to death. Zakaria states that it is immoral an unwise to deny the students exit, as if border crossing and policy towards Gaza had nothing to do with thousands of rockets fired at Israel from Gaza. The students exit matter is minute incident that ignores the major issues that surround the Gaza and Israel conflict.
Are we supposed to be engaged in an International popularity contest that is placed above common sense and our national interest? We support the existence of the state Israel's and among other things it is our only true military ally in the entire region. We don’t support Hamas because it is a terrorist organization. We don’t agree with everything that the Israeli government does but we don’t make decisions for them either. They are a sovereign institution and we cannot dictate their policies. We are not responsible for the actions that they take to protect their national security. They are constantly challenged by Iran, Hamas and Hezbollah.
Of interest also are comments made by Andy Martin based on the subject of blocking the students from leaving Gaza. He obviously has a lopsided view on the Israeli-Palestinian conflict and fails to recognize that there is intransigence on both sides and blames only Israel for the existing problems. History maps shows that the land they both claim, through history has changed hand numerous times. The only solution to their conflict is compromises that neither side is willing to make, not what Israel does at its border about the Fulbright students. In addition Andy Martin comments show that he supports a shared concept with Iran, Hezbollah and Hamas that Israel does not have the right to exist. His negative views towards Israel are worth reading to better understand how some Liberals view the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.
The conflict and tensions in the Middle East deserve less bias and better reporting. CNN and Zakaria should have taken a closer look at Iran’s actions in the region and have challenged and condemned the remarks made by Andy Martin instead of as usual blame the US for everything negative that happens in our world.
Shame on you for the bias in your reporting.
