The economy: Not as bad is not good, it is bad

Good financial news is just a deception to avoid panic and give government and bankers more time to do whatever it is that they are trying to achieve. There is very little true reporting of anything. Everyone is cooking the books starting with government as this link illustrates a particular example with pension funds.

Visit Bloomberg’s website and read article after article with rosy titles that say just the opposite in its content. Expert forecasters are trying to fool the people by deliberately making low estimates of bad forecasts in order to say, “See it wasn’t as bad as anticipated therefore it is getting better.” Try selling green shoots to the nearly 20% who are unemployed or underemployed. What about the anticipated 48% whose mortgages will eventually be underwater, that is every other household in America. Reuters reports that one in nine Americans is now on Food Stamps (read it here) and the total number exceeds 34 million. If you are lucky enough not to be one of these people, do not blind yourself to the disaster that is taking place in our nation.
Fudging the figures? The July unemployment report came out today showing a 241,000 loss of jobs. The media is making a big deal out of it for it shows that the U-3 unemployment dropped from 9.5% to 9.4%. How could have the rate dropped with a net loss of jobs? What is not covered by the media is the fact that they took 637,000 off the working force and counted them as non-part of the working force and therefore forcing the % to drop when in reality it should have increased. You can visit the government website and see it here listed under not counted in labor force. Are these people who actually lost unemployment benefits or did they just dropped dead in one month?
For the many who understand what is happening and what is coming, it has become a situation of preparing and waiting. There is no way that we can ever fill a $2 trillion deficit gap this year, next year or ever, much less pay what we owe. It is really going to hit the fan when the Federal Government finally inform you of what they already know, that they will have to cut at least $1 trillion out of the budget and raise taxes. Where will the money come from to finance the tens of trillions of unfunded obligations to Social Security, Medicare and the Military? Let’s not forget about the many more billions in spending that States will have to cut as revenues continue a steep decline.
What we see going on in Washington is either a horror script being played in deceit or a lunatics asylum run by the patients. Both political parties are responsible for what is going on today and most politicians don’t realize that they are angering the people and are creating a very dangerous situation. Visit this link to see a recent incident that took place in the State of Florida. People are very quickly finding the truth, loosing trust in government and holding them responsible for the current situation. More people are waking up to the reality that we are governed by a bunch of pathological liars, (someone who lies incessantly to get their way and does so with little concern for others).
And there is a lot more wrong; read this article and see that insiders are heavily dumping their company stocks. While insiders are jumping ship with their money investors are putting in your honest hard earned money in it. People’s reaction will not be pretty when the stock market crashes, saving are gone, pension funds become insolvent, banks are shut down and your money is locked in, perhaps topping it off with food and gas shortages.
It all may seem far fetch or exaggerated for those that are slow waking up to today’s reality. The truth is that as we stand today, The Treasury must sell nearly $200,000,000,000 in Bonds every month for as far as the eye can see. Don’t take for granted that incompetent politicians are going to solve this problem for they were the creators. Treat as if it was your problem to solve, by looking at it this way you will quickly come to the conclusion that there is no fixing. Nothing but pain and hardship is coming our way. There is no magic wand that is going to make all of these problems just disappear.
Politicians in Washington are residing in a bubble; they are disconnected with the people. In their view they are already the rulers in a Dictatorship. They are discarding any opposition and anger of the people. A good example is how they are dismissing the protests that occurred on April 15th and July 4th. The current administration and most of the media are trying to label opposion as Republicans or a number of other things. Those who have attended these rallies are just dissatisfied people who are in discontent with the path in which government has taken our country and with their arrogance. They are more upset with Republicans that they are with Democrats. Many are conservatives who feel betrayed by the GOP and the drop on membership speaks for itself. One thing these people cannot be accused of is being un-American and un-patriotic.
It will be interesting to see if the current administration and the media will be able to hide the March on Washington planned for September 12th,. Tens or perhaps hundreds of thousands will show their frustrations this time at their door steps. If you are not aware of this event because the media is hiding it from you, visit this link to get more information.
There are tens of millions of Americans that are no longer registered as Democrats or Republicans and many more who feel disenfranchise are dropping their memberships with these parties. The emergence of a new third party is in the early stages by these millions of Americans who have lost faith with the two dominant Parties. There is plenty of honest and Constitutionalist leadership outside the ruling Parties than can be quickly put in place by those who wish to return our country to what most Americans want it to be; the America that our founding father delivered to us. Conditions are favorable for such to happen perhaps even before the 2010 midterm elections.
In summary, you don’t have to believe any of this but it is undeniable that the frustration and patience of the people is running thin. In addition, if you think that government can tax us an extra $2,000,000,000,000 ($2 trillion) every year or that someone is going to lend us that sum you need to pinch yourself in the arm and wake up now before you wake up in what is coming next. If you at least partially agree with this don’t keep it to yourself, share it, more people need to know about it.
This is the kind of truth that you can expect out of Washington
