Not to pick on Obama for many others are also lying or pretending that the huge Social Security insolvency problem does not exist. Surely, most would like to believe that our government would make good on its obligation to the Social Security system.  Who would tend to believe that our government would alter its commitment by failing to do  such.

Our government we tend to see as a reflection of what our forefathers created.  The Constitution and the Bill of Rights, the moral Christian Ethic, honesty and hard work are the image portrayed on the government of the greatest nation that has ever existed on earth.  The problem with this is that during the last century a few men slowly began to destroy everything that our nation stood for.  During this time, others joined them for personal gains and created one Tax Ponzi Scheme after another.  And yes, Social Security is one of them.  The pensions system is also in danger of collapsing for it is grossly underfunded but that is a different subject not to be discussed with Social Security for it is funded differently.

For a couple of decades the U.S. worker and employers have been paying 15% into the Social Security Fund.  Some of it was used to pay the beneficiaries and the rest was borrowed by the U.S. Treasury to finance wars, higher government salaries than the private sector, lavish living and benefits for elected officials, and a number of other things that the American Taxpayers did not agree with but they were forced to swallow the pill.  As of this year, the Social Security program will begin to pay more to its beneficiaries than it receives.  This is happening at a time in our history when the budget deficits is going to have a nearly $2 trillion deficit.  To aggravate the situation this is occurring while our nation's debt already exceeds $12.3 trillion.

No, our government never took the past excess contributions to the Social Security Fund and bought Gold with it and stored in a vault, they spent it.  In order to make Social Security payments our government has to be able to do one of two things or both.  One, they have to be able to borrow from others what they owe Social Security, something that it can no longer be easily done.  Two, continue to receive worthless freshly printed paper from the Federal Reserve who has already warned it cannot do indefinitely.  Or, they can continue to do both until the party crashes and the game is over.  The moment our Treasury cannot do any of these, it will not have the money to write the Social Security checks.

So if all of this above is true, is Obama lying about a quick fix?  Again, he inherited this problem and is not alone on this lie, and shame on those who have defrauded the Social Security system, the bread and butter of our senior citizens.

Who can guess the future?  Who knows what will happen but there are evident signs and there are plenty of prominent, knowledgeable people warning us of possible coming social unrest.  As you can see in the below embedded video you can expect that the MSM will not side with the people but with the corrupted government that defrauded the American worker.
