Have you ever heard of the CFR? “The what?”

Strange question it should not be. If you ever voted during national elections or engaged in a political discussion the answer should not be “The what?”
I have to admit that although I had seen the initials before in writings and recall to have heard its full name, until recently I had never taken the time to research it. Having now realized of how important it is to know of it, I have engaged in conversation with others about it. When I bring up the subject, I introduce it with one question: Have you ever heard of the CFR? I guess you probably already figure out by the title of this article that the answer is “The what?” Then I repeat the question in the same exact way. Have you ever heard of the CFR? Could you guess that the answer is “No”? Then I go on to fully detail it as The Council on Foreign Relations.
I find this to be amazing considering that the last two persons that I asked the question one has a Masters degree, the other a PHD and they both answered exactly as stated above. Did they not learn about while attending school or is it that they do not teach it in our school system or Universities unless perhaps specific studies?
To carry on a knowledgeable discussion about International affairs, wars that we are involved in, the election of a president, The Federal Reserve, The Treasury, the CIA, etc… without knowing of the CFR, we have to omit knowledgeable. It would be comparable to talking about cars performance, quality, statistics, consumer reviews, prices, etc… without ever having heard of General Motors or Ford as cars do not just pop out of thin air.
If you have read my more recent articles you came across it but may have brushed it off in the same way that I did in the past. If you are not well acquainted with it I strongly recommend that at least for starter you visit the Wikipedia link to get an idea of how it came about, what it is and what it does. If not interested in reading all of it at least read this small section. Once you have learned about the CFR and if decide to study it more in depth there is plenty of information about on line. With research, it is easy to see that not much happens in our nation and political system without the influence of the CFR and its members.
This article is not written with the intention of being critical of the CFR as you can decide for yourself, although there is plenty of written criticism that can be found on the Internet. The intention here is to make it familiar to some of the many millions of Americans that are unaware that Presidents, CIA directors, Federal Reserve chairmen, heads of Treasury and many appointees in administrations are CFR members, to the extent that it could almost be said with certainty that they must be. If you don’t belief, research it. Visit a previous article that I wrote if you missed it, it goes back to when it was founded.
I will mention three recent times politicians that are outside their circle. Ronald Reagan our best president in recent history by most accounts. Ron Paul, a Congressman who tries very hard with no success to find support in reining the federal government. When he was running for president, the media ignored him and would not give him the cover that is needed to have a chance at winning. His most recent project is resolution HR-1207 designed to audit the Federal Reserve but so far with no success. Last but not least, Sarah Palin, who was and still is the victim of vicious attack by some CFR members and the controlled media. It scared the living daylights out them when they saw how excited the people were about a non-CFR. They were not about to let an outsider who they did not control or shared their views be in the position of becoming president. This is not an endorsement, just trying to make the point.
Another way of looking at the CFR is taking for instance the turmoil that is going on presently in Iran after the Presidential elections results. What happens in their country as far as major policies is a reflection of what happens in ours with the CFR. None of the major issues of Iran will change regardless of who becomes president. It is not the president that controls the country’s policies it is Ayatollah Ali Khamenei who has been the Supreme Leader since 1989 and those who surround him. The only difference between the Iran’s radical President Mahmud Ahmadinejad and his more moderate opponent is minor policies that directly affect the people. People under the age of 30 constitute 70% of the Iranian population and they want more freedom from a Theocracy that controls them with a strict Islamic moral code. Those are the kind of changes that the people are rioting for and are upset as they see their more moderate candidate lose the election. Whether Iran will continue its nuclear policies or not, has nothing to do with who gets elected as president. On the other hand, if the protests grow out of the control of the government and go as far as removing Ayatollah Ali Khamenei and the Theocracy then there will be real changes and new policies.
Our country works in a similar way, in order to have real changes and enforce the will of the people we would have to take the power away from those who control our politicians, news media and finances. We should by now understand that the Congress or Presidents that we elect have restricted powers and are only the mediators between the people and those who hold the real power. Nothing can explain that better than the fact that the people on both political parties and those that don’t belong to either are in discontent with the actions of our politicians and politicians could care less. Those who thought that the Bush administration was cocky and arrogant can easily see that the Obama administration has got him beat. Those who hold the real power are emboldened and have gotten to believe that the people cannot or will do nothing about it. They may be partly right because the people don’t know towards who project their frustrations. The politicians keep point fingers at each other and at Wall Street pretending that they don't know what is going on. That is why it is important that the people become educated about the Council on Foreign Relations and The Trilateral Commission. Regardless, even so, we can see what took place with the TEA Party rallies that by some estimates exceeded one million protesters on April 15th and the one on July 4th is expected to be much larger. All of this is taking place without political leaders and coverage from the controlled bias media that criticized and try to ridicule the April 15th rallies.
Most of our citizens are patriotic and have strong nationalistic sentiments and that should be the main point of unity. We are one but yet for some reason we are constantly fed division. Strength is in unity and as long as we are kept divided, we the people will remain weak and unable to impose our will. The more fractured we are the easier we are controlled.
A conspiracy in the Kennedy assassination was believed to have been a theory, but later is was concluded that indeed it was a conspiracy. A theory does not discard the possibility of its truthfulness; it merely implies that at the time it cannot be proven. One of the big current issues is Globalization and the much talked New World Order. More control from the UN and gearing for a World Government with a world currency and laws that supersede our Constitution. Although treated as a theory there is much written on it. There are so many warnings that it should not be ignored. Is this is the agenda of the CFR? Should we surrender our Constitution, our currency and our government to be governed by those whom we don’t elect in a global scale? Is that what we want? Is that what you want? The past four administrations have frequently and vaguely talked of a New World Order and we continue to see our Constitution being trampled. Is it really just a theory when we are moved in a direction that goes against the will of the people? What are you going to do about it?
Our country has some of the richest, shrewdest and smartest bankers in the world. Do you really think that we are losing our wealth and our economy is collapsing because they suddenly became stupid overnight? Should those facts be treated as a conspiracy theory? What are they up to?
They may soon find out that we are not what they think we are.

For those who think the CFR has nothing to do with, or no significant control in our government here are some quotes:
[The CFR] "came to be, in essence, an agency of the United States government. . . There can be no doubt that much of the thinking in the State Department and much of the background of direction of its policies come from the personnel of. . . The Council on Foreign Relations."
Tax Exempt Foundations, Report, 83rd Congress, 2nd Session, 1954
"We shall have world government whether or not we like it… by conquest or consent."
James Warburg (son of CFR founder Paul Warburg, and a member of FDR's "brain trust") testifying before the Senate Foreign Relations Committee on February 17, 1950.
"The Council on Foreign Relations is 'the establishment.' Not only does it have influence and power in key decision-making positions at the highest levels of government to apply pressure from above, but it also announces and uses individuals and groups to bring pressure from below, to justify the high level decisions for converting the U.S. from a sovereign Constitutional Republic into a servile member state of a one-world dictatorship."
Former Congressman John Rarick 1971
"The CFR is the American Branch of a society which originated in England, and which believes that national boundaries should be obliterated, and a one-world rule established."… "a front group for J.P. Morgan and Company in association with the very small American Round Table Group."
Carroll Quigley (Bill Clinton's mentor, Professor of History at Georgetown University, member of the CFR) - "Tragedy & Hope" (1975)
Note: Carroll Quigley wrote "Tragedy & Hope" because he was a member of the CFR and thought they should be praised for what they were trying to do, he was allowed to view papers and documents that only very high members are allowed to see.
"To be perfectly blunt, you could find yourself in trouble dealing with this subject."
Georgetown University Professor Carroll Quigley explained in an interview that his career as a lecturer in the government institution circuit was all but ruined because of the twenty or so pages he had written about the existence of Round Table Groups.
The story of the British connection to the Council on Foreign Relations may be traced back to George Peabody, J.P. Morgan, Andrew Carnegie, Nicholas M. Butler and Col. Edward House -- all who may be described a British loyalists. A Secret Society was established by Cecil Rhodes in connection with Rothschild, Morgan, Carnegie, and Rockefeller. A small highly secret group called the Round Table directed operations.
"The planning of UN can be traced to the 'secret steering committee' established by Secretary [of State, Cordell] Hull in January 1943. All of the members of this secret committee, with the exception of Hull, a Tennessee politician, were members of the Council on Foreign Relations. They saw Hull regularly to plan, select, and guide the labors of the [State] Department's Advisory Committee. It was, in effect, the coordinating agency for all the State Department's postwar planning."
Professors Laurence H. Shoup and William Minter, writing in their study of the CFR, "Imperial Brain Trust: The CFR and United States Foreign Policy." (Monthly Review Press, 1977).
1977 -- The Third Try at World Order is published. Author Harlan Cleveland of the Aspen Institute for Humanistic Studies calls for:
"changing Americans' attitudes and institutions" for "complete disarmament (except for international soldiers)" and "for individual entitlement to food, health and education."
Read that last quote again... individual ENTITLEMENT to Food, HEALTH, and Education.
"Let us face reality. The framers [of the Constitution] have simply been too shrewd for us. They have outwitted us. They designed separate institutions that cannot be unified by mechanical linkages, frail bridges, [or] tinkering. If we are to turn the founders upside down… we must directly confront the Constitutional structure they erected."
James MacGregor Burns, Council on Foreign Relations member, 1984
"Today, America would be outraged if U.N. troops entered Los Angeles to restore order. Tomorrow they will be grateful! This is especially true if they were told that there were an outside threat from beyond, whether real or promulgated, that threatened our very existence. It is then that all peoples of the world will plead to deliver them from this evil. The one thing every man fears is the unknown. When presented with this scenario, individual rights will be willingly relinquished for the guarantee of their well-being granted to them by the World Government."
Henry Kissinger, Bilderberger Conference in Evians, France, 1991 [refering to the riots in LA]
"In my view The Trilateral Commission represents a skillful, coordinated effort to seize control and consolidate the four centers of power -- political, monetary, intellectual, and ecclesiastical. All this is to be done in the interest of creating a more peaceful, more productive world community. What the Trilateralists truly intend is the creation of a worldwide economic power superior to the political governments of the nation-states involved. They believe the abundant materialism they propose to create will overwhelm existing differences. As managers and creators of the system they will rule the future."
"Does it not seem strange to you that these men just happened to be CFR and just happened to be on the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve, that absolutely controls the money and interest rates of this great country without benefit of Congress? A privately owned organization, the Federal Reserve, which has absolutely nothing to do with the United States of America!"
Barry Goldwater - "With No Apologies" (1979)
"Both major political parties are controlled at the top by an international network, represented in the United States by The Council on Foreign Relations."… "ingenious techniques used to deceive the public and create the widespread myth that there is truly a difference in the two parties at the top."… "private organizations based in New York City which formulate and implement U.S. foreign and domestic policy without public knowledge."… "Both parties are infiltrated by Rockefeller people. Some pose as 'conservative' patriots and others wear the 'liberal' label. Every four years, voters are privileged to choose between a CFR Democratic and a CFR Republican, or candidates surrounded by CFR 'advisors.' Voters never realize that they are given no real choice."… "Keep CFR/TC membership lists handy when watching TV and when reading your local newspaper. Note that many of the leading news readers and columnists are CFR members."
Johnny Stewart - F.R.E.E. (Fund to Restore an Educated Electorate) 1979-1980
In the 2008 presidential elections only 3 candidates of the 2 major parties were NOT members of the CFR, BB, or TC.... Dennis Kunicich (D), Mike Gravel (D), and Ron Paul (R). Before the 2008 campaigns Obama and Hillary had "member" pages on the CFR website, but once people started blogging about them being members and how bad the CFR is they scrubbed the pages and created "campaign" pages for everyone in both parties that were running for president.
Excerpt:
Palin’s meeting with Kissinger, however, is apt to be of far greater significance than the others. As the New York Times observed in a September 22 report:
It is likely that Mr. Kissinger, a close outside adviser to Mr. McCain’s campaign, will give Ms. Palin a broad overview of international affairs, focusing particularly on Russia, China and the Middle East. Mr. Kissinger, who was national security adviser and secretary of state in the Nixon and Ford administrations, is regularly called on by Mr. McCain for advice on foreign affairs.
It could be said that for a foreign policy novice such as Sarah Palin, having a tutorial session with the great master of international affairs, Henry Kissinger, will be a unique learning experience. After all, Kissinger has been an adviser to presidents and is quite capable of bringing Palin up to speed in short order. Kissinger served as Secretary of State and National Security Adviser under presidents Nixon and Ford, was our nation’s chief negotiator at the Paris Peace Accords with the North Vietnamese during the Vietnam War, helped negotiate the giveaway of the Panama Canal, served as the Disney Corporation’s negotiator with the Chinese, and was involved in countless other globe-trotting missions involving foreign policy.
Since the relationship between Kissinger (a former Harvard professor) and Palin at the meeting will undoubtedly be one of mentor-to-protégé, we can reasonably expect that the mentor will indoctrinate his protégé on behalf of the interventionist foreign policy the U.S. government has followed for decades under both Republican and Democrat administrations.

“Oh what a wicked web we weave when first we practice to deceive.”
The Trinity at the center or close to the center of the web - Council on Foreign Relations (CFR), Trilateral Commission (TC), and Bilderberg (BB) Group
The quotes from above are only "a drop in the bucket" of quotes from either members, past members, or people in a position to know what's going on.
"A conspiracy is rarely, if ever, proved by positive testimony. When a crime of high magnitude is about to be perpetrated by a combination of individuals, they do not act openly, but covertly and secretly. The purpose formed is known only to those who enter into it. Unless one of the original conspirators betray his companions and give evidence against them, their guilt can be proved only by circumstantial evidence..."
~ Special Judge Advocate John A. Bingham, quoted in "The Trial Of The Conspirators", Washington, 1865
Circumstantial evidence is not less probative than direct evidence, and, in some instances, is even more reliable. United States v. Nelson, supra 419 F.2d at 1239.
"Those who suffer from conspiracy phobia are fond of saying: "Do you actually think there's a group of people sitting around in a room plotting things?" For some reason that image is assumed to be so patently absurd as to invite only disclaimers. But where else would people of power get together – on park benches or carousels? Indeed, they meet in rooms: corporate boardrooms, Pentagon command rooms, at the Bohemian Grove, in the choice dining rooms at the best restaurants, resorts, hotels, and estates, in the many conference rooms at the White House, the NSA, the CIA, or wherever. And, yes, they consciously plot – though they call it "planning" and "strategizing" – and they do so in great secrecy, often resisting all efforts at public disclosure. No one confabulates and plans more than political and corporate elites and their hired specialists."
~ Michael Parenti, "Dirty Truths", City Lights Books, 1996.
Parenti also has interesting things to say about the role of investigative commissions, and how they are often designed to reach a pre-ordained, desired conclusion.
If someone is "planning" something for our nation in a place only members can go and is only open for members to hear... where US officials and congressmen who are not members can't go and/or can't hear... then it is behind our congresses back and is called plotting and I have no doubt that the Founders of our Republic would call it TREASON.
