Freedom of Speech is already history

For years we have listened to Jesse Jackson run his mouth. He has now, fallen victim of our continuing path to suppression of speech, of which he has contributed. Jackson has become a victim of himself.
Follow up:
Caught while unknowingly speaking in front of a live microphone; Jesse Jackson was recorded saying that he wished to castrate Barack Obama for comments the Senator had made critical of blacks. Jackson later apologized and went on to say that he was “very sorry” for his comments.
On Father’s Day Obama spoke about fathers that act irresponsibly: "They have abandoned their responsibilities, acting like boys instead of men. And the foundations of our families are weaker because of it". This does not sound like a false statement.
Obama has also said during another speech: "You and I know how true this is in the African-American community. We know that more than half of all black children live in single-parent households, a number that has doubled — doubled — since we were children. We know the statistics: that children who grow up without a father are five times more likely to live in poverty and commit crime, nine times more likely to drop out of schools and twenty times more likely to end up in prison.” Was Obama lying?
As a member of the old school, Jesse Jackson does not want anyone to admit that; in the land of opportunity blacks who have not succeeded must be held accountable for their actions and lack of success.
I don’t believe there was sincerity in Jackson's apology. He meant what he said and did nothing wrong when he expressed his opinion. By apologizing he relinquished his Freedom of Speech. He acted as if he had been castrated. He lost his nerve and he lost his... After playing tough guy for decades, he has also become an apologetic victim of a society that no longer has Freedom of Speech.
What is wrong with our society? Why can’t we just say: It is my opinion, I meant what I said and if you don’t like it, it is just too bad? A statement like that is real Freedom of Speech. Instead we are expected to act as little kids: “I am sorry I hurt your feelings”, “I won’t do it again”. How many men do we have in our society who are not yet castrated?
There is a huge list of public figures who speak their mind and later go on to insincerely apologize to the cry baby wimps, who claim that their feelings have been hurt. Whippidy Doo Da, too bad, who cares!
We need help! Where is George Patton?
WHO PUT THE WIMPS IN CHARGE?
Here are a few examples of people who were condemned by some, for exercising their Freedom of Speech and caved into pressure to apologize for saying what was their given right:
Don Imus (link); Jerry Lewis (link); Jay Leno (link); Bill Richardson (link);
Act like a man, say what you mean and mean what you say: End of story!
All of those apologetic wimps should learn from Sally Kern a legislator from Oklahoma. She is a good example of a tough woman with more guts than the apologetic sissies. Sally made some remarks that were not liked by the homosexual community and she stood by her principles against those cry baby wimps who wanted to pin her as a bigot. Freedom of Speech gives us the right to express our opinion even if others do not like it. They can feel free to express theirs and we can dialogue back and forth. We must refuse to be shut down. No apologies please, that is real freedom.
Freedom of Speech is not guaranteed anymore; we must fight for it.
